One the best burrito places in town. Ask for a side of the homemade salsa, you won't regret it!
Best car hop service I've ever had less than 5 minute wait time upon arrival.. thanks
I called in a delivery order because they said they delivered. I then asked, just to make sure, that a card was alright as payment because I don't generally keep cash on me. They said that it was.An hour later I called them back because they hadn't shown up yet. They said they "lost" my order. I then gave them my order again. 40 minutes later the guy shows up at my door and I go to pay him and he says he can't take credit card. I'm like, I just verified with the guy on the phone that you do! So he calls him up and he says no they don't.So now it's 2 hours passed when I got hungry for breakfast and I'm handing the delivery guy back the bag of my breakfast.I'm pissed at how these clowns are running their business and I won't be ordering from them again!
I got a 9 dollar super green and i wasent full or sweating. If i could leave no stars i would, go to morning glory by the highschool for a real burrito.
Easily the best tasting breakfast burrito in new mexico.Bacon red with cheese
I got the chicharrón burrito with green chili. It was mostly filled with refried beans and it was really bland. The service was impersonal; I can see why other reviewers say the service is rude. Overall I was disappointed.
Soo glad i tried this place was a lil hesitant at first because of the reviews but....Best breakfast burritos in town!!! Quick, frindly service great portion for the $$ . in and out fast even when theres a lot of people i have to say we are now hooked on this place..
Their green chili is the best in the state. Their breakfast burritos are amazing.
If you want some of the best breakfast burritos, or food come to chili works! I've been eating there since I was a kid and I will turn my nose up to any other burrito except chili works! All the employees are awesome too, they just need to learn the menus.
I just love their green chile cheeseburgers. If you can catch them during their limited hours open, try it! Its take out or outdoor seating, no indoor seating. Customer service is friendly and, though it can get pretty busy, they tend to be reasonably timely.
Great burritos! Get the Super Red if you go. Food comes out before credit card reader finishes authorization.
Great burritos! Fast service!
Insanely good burritos ultra-fast service
Iconic breakfast burritos! Still the best chili I've ever had
FAST FAST and Good.
A good place for red chile breakfast burritos and lunch enchiladas. Pretty much everything is good, but order the Chile on the side if you don't like hot (especially green chile or Christmas style). They are very fast and you can call in ahead of time if you are in more of a hurry. They are only open until one pm and they are closed on Sundays and Mondays. This has been a staple for my family for the last 19 years.
Chili Works is my favorite place to grab breakfast. I live for their steak burritos and red chili! Always a treat!
OMG. Best burrito ever.
The BEST breakfast anywhere! Super FAST service!Breakfast burritos made how YOU want, with fresh NM Chile! Sometimes I want different flavor, they live up to the challenge.Once you try it, you'll be back.
So good, sooo fast!
Super no hash light red...that is where it is at!!!
Love the breakfast burritos
Chaotic little s*** hole in the morning but it's got good food :) staff is quick and aims to please.
They're up charging due to shortage of meat. I get it but don't short me the meat that you're charging me for! I asked for bacon red not potato red!
The burritos are pretty good - nothing incredible, but pretty good. Unfortunately, they stop serving them after 12:00 PM - apparently their signature item isn't worth making in the final hour of service. Once I made the mistake of trying to order one after noon. They literally asked me "Do you want something else, or do you want to starve?" I politely told them I was going to try somewhere else, and they told me "Good, stay there." I don't know if they were trying to be funny, but it just came off as rude and arrogant. If you're looking for a burrito, try Morning Glory, which is open longer, serves breakfast burritos all day, charges less, and is actually polite.
Good breakfast burritos loaded with egg, potatoe and choice of meat. What's your style? Red? Green? or Christmas? Watch out, these burritos are big!
Do you want a delicious and filling breakfast to go, for a great price, at unbelievably lightening fast speed? Here you are. A Los Alamos classic.
Awesome food and service our first time there
Little pricey but worth the money. The best burrito I've ever had (I got red chilli breakfast burrito)
Great burritos at a good price. Fast service.
Love the breakfast burritos 😍😋
The city's best burritos
If you haven't eaten here. You're missing one of the best kept secrets in Los Alamos. Breakfast Burritos, Frito pie 👍👍👍👍👍👍
This place is Dirty. Like you walk in and you think, "Gross, I'm eating food from here?"But you know what? That's the best damn guilty pleasure dirty breakfast burrito you ever had in your life. Better than most places in Northern New Mexico. It's definitely in my top 3 burrito places though.
Unfortunately I didn't get to try their breakfast burritos. Apparently a place that is only open for 7 hours (until 1 pm) can't make breakfast past a certain point. Also, just a suggestion, a "hello" or "Good Morning" goes a long way if you wish to retain this customer, at least. No "thank you" either? I'll pass...
Awesomeness. I like their enchiladas and quesadillas.
Though it wasn't stupendous food, the service was astounding—I don't think I was waiting a minute before I got my order. :) I thought the hashbrowns could have been cooked and spiced better—they tasted rather bland... I liked the green chili. :)
Soso burritos, too much potatoes, and extremely rude services. I call these guys the burrito Nazis. You may ask why not tell them to go light on the potatoes, but these guys is so rude you don't even get a chance to get a word in edgewise. I have never returned again. Morning Glory burritors are much better and awesome services!
Always good. I know how to order what I want and before I walk up to the window.
Best breakfast burritos in northern New Mexico, which pretty much means they're the best in the world. Super Red for life.
Burritos are plain with no flavor. Their green is not authentic, never had the red so couldn’t tell you. Besides the food because I never would write a review if the food wasn’t good because I don’t care. It’s mostly about the service I received, the main guy there is so rude and disrespectful. Threw a fit because I paid with card because it takes forever, like I was supposed to know to bring cash. Yelled at me in front of other customers purchasing their food. Then proceeded to keep yelling about why I called the burritos in and it’s quicker to order them there. It’s going to take longer to run my card then to make the burritos. Needless to say this place is gross and unprofessional, Never going back.
Always great food, fast friendly service.
The absolute BEST breakfast burritos we've had in Los Alamos and possibly all of NM. Ate there 7 years back, came back several days ago... the quality and deliciousness hasn't changed one bit. I cannot express how delicious the burritos there are, you just have to try one!
delicious chile
The breakfast burritos are amazing... tastes great, fresh made, super spicy. Be ware the prices, though. Both staff and owner may charge you differently as an out of towner. Multiple times extra dollars were added on to my burrito prices. If you’re okay with an “out of town” service charge, this is a tasty treat for breakfast.
Just moved some family to town, spent two mornings here, had the Super Red both days. Excellent choice!
Awesome! Love the food.
AMAZING breakfast burritos. Came through here on a road trip and was very excited about the amount of chili loaded onto the food.
Good red chili and very fast service
Chili Works is a really really really small building: Basically just a standing area where you order your food and then a small kitchen. They make the food fast. My wife and I have always enjoyed the food here. I get the over-easy eggs that come with hash browns. (It is the only place in town to get hash browns that I know of. The next closest place is the Gold Dust restaurant down in Pojoaque.) There is a small outdoor eating area next to the building. In the summer it's a nice place to sit and have your breakfast. They also of breakfast burritos that my wife enjoys. Most people get the food to go.
